We are now entering an exciting new phase - expanding our capabilities into UiPath-driven automation. This is a strategic growth initiative and the UiPath Architect will be a key hire at the heart of it - shaping how we introduce, scale and deliver automation both internally and for our clients.
About the Role
As our UiPath Architect, you will take ownership of introducing and building UiPath automation capabilities within Digacon. In the first phase, the focus will be on test automation using UiPath within our existing client projects on the Swiss market. As the collaboration matures, the scope expands into full RPA solutions serving both current and new clients.
This is a hands-on senior role with real strategic influence. You will not only architect but actively deliver solutions, contributing and shaping Digacon's automation practice from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Architecture & Solution Design
- Define end-to-end solution blueprints including process design, integration patterns, exception handling frameworks and security models
- Lead the design of scalable UiPath automation architectures for test automation and RPA use cases
- Establish reusable component libraries, architectural standards and development best practices for the automation practice
- Conduct technical discovery, feasibility assessments and effort estimations for new automation opportunities
- Evolve the architecture as the practice grows from test automation into full RPA delivery and agentic AI-driven automation.
- Own the technical delivery of UiPath implementations across client engagements
- Review and approve solution designs and code produced by the team
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across the delivery lifecycle
- Define and enforce development standards, coding best practices and QA processes
- Mentor and upskill team members, building internal UiPath competency across Digacon
- Support sales and presales activities across all sales phases, actively contributing to project proposals, technical offers and service presentations for existing and potential clients
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Squad Leads, Product Owners, Chapter Leads and other stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, service offerings and needed technical improvements that support business growth
- Align sales initiatives with architectural capabilities, ensuring proposed solutions are scalable, technically sound and aligned with available company platforms and services.
- Develop and maintain technical presales assets, including solution architectures, case studies and sales decks that clearly articulate technical value and business impact
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic software vendors
- Actively contribute to introducing and developing UiPath capabilities within Digacon
- Drive knowledge sharing and establish internal community formats around automation
- Define and maintain Digacon's automation standards, documentation and asset library
- Contribute to the development of Digacon's TA & RPA service offering for future clients
- Stay current with UiPath platform releases, the RPA/IPA market and adjacent technologies
